Bending units (solid-state lasers)
In order to make housing modules suitable for the use of solid-state lasers, some modifications have been implemented. Essentially, this involved sealing the guidance to prevent contamination during operation.
Our 90 ° -distributing standard BUS housings are robust and cost-effective, with a fine, play-free leveling which does not have to be countered.
Both the housings and the optical inserts are pressure-tight to 2 bars, 2 sizes are available for free apertures of 30mm and 50mm respectively.
The optics can be either metal optics or glass optics, always held in a holder corresponding to the optics as a unit.
Metal optics is usually not required in laser machines with solid-state lasers, with the exception of e.g. the adaptive mirror as an alternative to the motorized focusing lens.
As an alternative to metal optics, LT offers fused silica mirrors.
We use glass mirrors with high-performance coatings optimized to the respective desired wavelength in a range from 193 nm to 1080 nm as well as special optics e.g. when using a camera.
